Philadelphia Fire Department News!

The Citizens for Fire Prevention Committee’s (CFPC) and the Philadelphia Fire Department welcome you to the CFPC’s website. I hope that you find the CFPC website to be informative and helpful. The site will showcase the unique and successful collaboration between the public and non–profit sector. It is government and its citizens at their finest, working toward a common mission. That mission is to reduce deaths, injuries, property and environmental damage caused by fire.

The Committee is made up of individuals representing businesses, community groups, health care, school districts and industry. Committee members are a group of like-minded individual’s committed to doing what it takes to make a difference in our community. The Committee welcomes both monetary and in-kind donations. We are an active organization focusing on high risk groups and high risk communities. However, we are also forward thinking with prevention being the key to our Community outreach programs. Together we can, we will and we do make a difference. Thank you,

Fire Safety APP, Stay Alive with That

The Philadelphia Fire Department and Drexel University announce the release of the new “Philadelphia Fire Department Safety App” on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm. on Drexel University Campus, 33rd and Race Streets. For smart phone users, the application is optimized for IOS and will run on Android platforms, giving users instant access to fire prevention and safety information.
