11th "Memorial Wal to Honor the Victims of September 11, 2001"

  • 9:59 AM at Firman's Hall Museum, 2nd and Quarry Streets
  • Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers will join Mayor Michael Nutter, Deputy Police Commissioner Richard Ross, Local 22 President Bill Gault, the Philadelphia Flag Day Association, the American Flag House and Betsy Ross Memorial and the Fireman's Hall Museum to honor the many fire service personnel, civilians, and emergency responders lost during the "9/1 Attack on America."
  • Join Commissioner Ayers and guest as they commemorate this day with a procession starting from Fireman's Hall Museum, 2nd and Quarry Streets, at 9:59AM (when the first tower collapsed) to the historic Betsy Ross House and Museum, 239 Arch Street. This procession will be led by the Philadelphia Police and Fire Pipes and Drum Corps followed by Commissioner Ayers and honor guards representing Fire, Police, Prisons and the Vetrerans Guard Third Regiment Infantry N.G.P. The Betsy Ross House will serve as host to the program commemorating and honoring the victims of this horrendous attack on American soil.
